IT INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT & SUPPORT

For all our infrastructure clients, we tend to act as their local IT department and manage the following:

​

  • Setting up and managing of MS (Cloud and on-premise) domains (we partner with Dell, Tech Data and Microsoft)  

  • On-premise, Hybrid and Azure-only domain networks 

  • Single and multi-site networks 

  • Network security (perimeter defences, cyber-attack and malware protection)  

  • Remote access (MS Remote Desktop Services – Session and VDI; Citrix) 

  • Virtual Machines using Hyper-V 

 

Purchasing & Installation

We can help with sourcing all IT equipment and offer Remote 1st line and 2nd line support and training (through remote takeover and screen sharing); onsite support is available, if required.

 

Cloud Services

  • Migrating clients to Office 365 Cloud Services (we partner with Microsoft) and helping them manage when they get there, including licensing services 

  • Developing and implementing strategies for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and Cloud Storage, Disaster Recovery Service and more

  • Hosting clients’ servers, mail and applications at our data centres in Chiswick and Long Crendon; some are physical servers and others are virtual;

  • SIP/ Cloud-based phone systems (SIP telephony in partnership with Spitfire and Eclipse/Gamma) 

  • We are a Microsoft Silver partner 

 

Disaster Recovery

  • Remote backup of client data to our data centres in Long Crendon and Chiswick with local backups and snapshots of all critical data and servers

  • Testing these regularly and reporting any issues immediately to the client 

  • Hosting and managing DR sites for clients 

  • Setup and management of  Azure Disaster Recovery Service 

 

Connectivity & Infrastructure 

  • Broadband and analogue phone lines (we partner with Zen, Eclipse and Spitfire)

  • Managing internet domains and DNS

  • Installing and maintaining wireless networks

  • Installing and maintaining structured cabling (we partner with Connected Business Solutions and Simon Basford) 

  • Installing Telephony, CCTV and door entry systems and liaising with clients’ security partners 

  • Office moves 

 

Apple product support and acquisition (via Apple Store Business – our primary focus is Microsoft but we have many clients who have Apple equipment as well which needs to be supported by us).

  •  Broadband and remote connectivity to the office  

  • Wi-Fi 

  • increasingly TV/ AV/ CCTV and home automation as technologies converge
